InBok is the producer project of Freddy Rylands. It is a long collective of influences both commercial and personal in the vein of hip hop, r&b, rap, jazz, soul, and the art of sampling. Starting in 2014, InBok began his sonic journey from the solitary suburbs of Westchester, to the urban beat of Brooklyn NY, and everything in between. Although life throws many obstacles, InBok has managed to always keep the music alive in his journey not just through this album, but everything in his life in between then and now. Friends, relationships, musical projects, jobs, and living situations all came and went. Still, the music stayed alive through it all.
"This Drum Machine Kills Fascists" is the first installment of InBok, and not the last. It's simply when Folk meets Hip Hop. Sampling such great folk artists as Judy Sill, Vashti Bunyan, and others, InBok brings a completely foreign element to this musical style. It's abrasive, yet moving. Jagged, yet smooth. The dichotomy of styles is what InBok pushes for. To make the unconventional conventional. It's with great honor, and pleasure, that InBok presents to you "This Drum Machine Kills Fascists".
This album is dedicated to the memory of Max Cacopardo RIP

"Mercerie" is so good music! Jazz&HipHop is the best combo!
I'm pretty sure it's possible to rap on it. Thanks FloFilz and continue!
